Red Army Watches featuring SevenFriday

Following my recent foray into watch watching, I have found some unusual fare at Red Army Watches (http://www.redarmywatches.com/) which retail brands of exquisite watches that are not run-of-the-mill and fit into their "Acquirable Timepieces" brand assessment strategy.
SevenFriday M1
This time SevenFriday is featured. According to the blurb by Red Army Watches, SevenFriday is a Zurich-based brand which "is inspired by industrial elements, tools, engines, machines, wheels, and art. The products’ design is a result of this inspiration in combination with high-end production and complex construction. It is a merger of contrasting materials and styles in harmony. Sevenfriday is made for individuals with high demands with regard to design, quality and uniqueness."

Currently, their available product lines are grouped under the 'M' and 'P' series with special editions of them sold out.

SevenFriday P3/3

Just like me, you may have wandered about the use of the moniker "SevenFriday". Evan Yeung at http://monochrome-watches.com/one-friday-with-seven-friday/, offers this insight: "When it comes to timepieces, the number seven is easily deduced to be a sign for the number of days there are in a week. But the addition of a specific day – Friday, seems to confuse most folks new to the brand. In most countries, a five day work week would mean that Friday is a sign of relief, or a cause for celebration. Leading to the popular phrase “thank god it’s Friday (TGIF)”. By simply not dwelling too much on the past and worry too much about the future, the Seven Friday philosophy is fulfilled. That is to live each day to the fullest, and that living each day as if it’s Friday is what the brand envision for everyone.

The underlying meaning of the Seven Friday brand can easily be explained by two simple words, and that is “carpe diem”, or in other words to simply seize the day!"
