To start with, it wasn't Heather Headley's song; "Your Song" was written by Sir Elton John.
However, when Heather sang "Your Song" she sang it like she owns it and it resonated resoundingly with the audience and, most importantly, with Sir Elton.

You have one life to live and your life can be likened to a song that your Maker has written and given unto you to sing. While you make make mistakes in the stage of life, you persist to practise and learn from your shortcomings as well as mistakes until you can live your life (sing your song) with finesse.
Keep on keeping on and sing your song with confidence and a smile on your face. You mayn't be there yet, but you are improving daily and becoming more and more to be that person that God has meant you to become.
Your song will move your world and, most importantly, honour and glorify your Creator.
