The signature voice of Adele is hard to mimic and this particular rendition of "When We Were Young" is IMHO a heart-tugging top-notch take of her singing prowess to connect with her listeners besides her other hits such as "Rolling In The Deep".
To me the most resounding moment of this gig was the sound of silence that ensued when her voice ceased to fill the studio. It was such a rapt moment that, if I am mistaken, she said "Holy, me" at the end.
There comes a moment when an artiste is herself surprised by how good she has sounded. To me this was that kind of special moment for Adele.
