You own your unique portfolio of memories much like intangible assets. Your memory is from the past and experienced in the present.

Cast aside the bad memories and do not let them have the time of your day and night. Let them pour away like rainwater down to the drain for good, but take their lessons and learn from them. While humankind on a global scale has not learned from history, you will make an exception to do better.
Today and tomorrow, you have the opportunity to create good memories of time spent doing your things and interacting with others. Be a good steward of your time and relationships, and you will be paying it forward and reap your future returns of good memories.
