Divine vs. Supreme

You may wanna start a new brand of t-shirts called "Divine". Armed with this knowledge of a possible brand name in the making, you will need the expertise or knowhow to sustain this spark of an idea to generate your fashion statement and develop commercial success.

The groundwork has to be done and here is where the 10,000 hours rule, made famous by Malcolm Gladwell in his book Outliers, comes in handy as a general guide. He opined that "ten thousand hours is the magic number of greatness."

Later, he added that, "There is a lot of confusion about the 10,000 rule that I talk about in Outliers. It doesn't apply to sports. And practice isn't a SUFFICIENT condition for success. I could play chess for 100 years and I'll never be a grandmaster. The point is simply that natural ability requires a huge investment of time in order to be made manifest."

Before you can make it like Supreme t-shirts, you will have to put in the hours and pull out all the stops to create your unique range of products and test market it way before you come to the stage of launching a full scale marketing programme or setting up shop.

Keep pursuing your dream and don't give up. It will become an 'overnight' success after your many, many nights of working on it.
