On 5 September 2018, I chanced upon a commercial with a riveting hook and it was one of those rare moments when the "Skip" button was skipped.

The viewership is pretty impressive and has already exceeded two millions after just one week.
As the wedding banquet scene in the commercial is commonplace in Singapore, it is in no way inspired by the phenomenal Crazy Rich Asians novel and movie, but the timing is prescient.
