Traditionally, Christmas gifts are opened on the 26th day of December, which is also known as Boxing Day. In so doing, you would still get to see the assortment of presents at the foot of your Christmas tree on Christmas Day itself.
However, in this time and age most Christmas gifts received before 25 December would have been unwrapped shortly upon receiving them.
Regardless of whether you are observing tradition or not, you would have to remove the wrapping paper to see your gift which is packed in a box or plastic bag provided by the manufacturer.
The original Christmas gift had already been given to all mankind. But, it has to be received, unwrapped and unpacked in order for you to reap the full benefits.
"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." -- Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

Nicodemus, who was a Jewish religious leader, came to Jesus and asked how to be born again spiritually. Great question. As a result, we have possibly the most well known Bible verse as Jesus unpacked for us the spiritual truths concerning Himself with this statement as part of His reply:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -- John 3:16 (NKJV)
What are you waiting for? Come to Jesus today for unpacking of spiritual truths that will set you free from whatever is troubling you.
May you find and receive Jesus as your Saviour and LORD this Christmas, and become His disciple, co-heir and friend. Amen.
