The Power of One

What if you could feed your mind with one new inspirational or positive thought a day?

What if you could snack on something healthy once a day such as the proverbial apple which keeps the doctor away?

And, what if could plant one seed or bulb a day?

If you could do all of the above, you will have more positive and energised thoughts to seize the day of opportunities and reach for the stars of your dreams; you will enjoy good health; and you will surround your house with choiced lupins.

On a more decisive note, one can make all the difference in the world. Just one goal difference at the World Cup soccer final could elevate your team to be the champion for posterity.

In the history of our world, one man -- Jesus Christ, has separated time into BC (before Christ) and AD (anno Domini, which is a Latin phrase for "in the year of our Lord" meaning the number of years since Christ's birth).

Today is Good Friday and we are reminded that the saving grace of God extended freely to all who believe has saved us from the condemnation of our sinful nature through faith in one man -- Jesus Christ.

"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation." -- Romans 5:6-11, NKJV)
