Changi Point Coastal Walk

You will reach Changi Village at the far flung eastern part of Singapore near to Changi International Airport.

It is a relatively rustic and laid back enclave with clusters of shophouses selling things such groceries, household items, beverages and fishing equipment intermingled with restaurants, pubs and other eateries.

The food centre there is commendable for the spread and quality of food that it has to offer. As usual, if you are clueless on what is good, just go to the ones with a queue. But, that is another story for another day.

Nearby there is a stretch of beach where you could unwind, ride your wheelies, camp, watch the planes in the sky or go canoeing.

There is a jetty where you can take a boat ride to the island called Pulau Ubin which is highly sparsely populated where you can catch a glimpse of a genuine rustic or kampong of Singapore in its earlier years.

In the vicinity, there is a Civil Service Club, holiday chalets and bungalows, Changi Sailing Club, Changi Beach Club and Changi Golf Club and at least two hotels.

Here then are just some snippets of Changi Point Coastal Walk for your refreshing, especially, if you enjoy the sun, sea and sand (and the sound of lapping waves plus refreshing sea breeze):-

Go for a walk. It is good for health and a great way to refresh yourself as it will allow nature or the natural environment to speak to you and invigorate you from the inside out.
