Don't Give Up On Your Quest

"Rock bottom, became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life." – J. K. Rowling

"Anything's possible if you've got enough nerve." -- J.K. Rowling

In spite of the loss of her mother, a failed marriage and having to raise her daughter as a single mom living on welfare, Joanne Rowling kept on writing and completed her first Harry Potter book after 5 years... before she found rolling success.

Bob Dylan, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, has this to say, "Everything worth doing takes time. You have to write a hundred bad songs before you write one good one. And you have to sacrifice a lot of things that you might not be prepared for. Like it or not, you are in this alone and have to follow your own star.”

For someone was considered too small to play tennis (at 1.61m), Dominika Cibulkova kept at her game to overcome Angelique Kerber the world No. 1 and win the WTA Finals 2016. The "Pocket Rocket" went all out for every point in the finals ... sweet victory after 640 matches played.

You've got the verve too. Stay refreshed, and work on your quest.

Fret not if you are not conversant with Mandarin as there are subtitles provided in English.

The clincher is that the Fried Carrot Cake that I had covered in my blog post was the first hawker stall to be featured in this video, and you get the scoop of seeing the retired grandmaster of fried carrot cake in his elements working the wok in a frenzy.
