Sydney Harbour Bridge (February 2016)

Sydney Harbour Bridge is everything I had imagined it to be from postcards, magazines and documentaries.

However, the novelty of seeing it for real is unbeatable. Its enormous size is simply breathtaking and awe-inspiring. Just hop on a ferry from Darling Harbour to Circular Quay and you would be rewarded with a magnificent view of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

You could walk across the bridge for free, or even climb it for AUD 280.00 over 3 plus hours and join the likes of Bill Gates and Usain Bolt who had scaled it.

Hold your mobile or camera tightly though when taking photographs as the wind could be gusty whether on the ferry or Bridge.

Here are some pictures of the Bridge (including Sydney Opera House and Queen Elizabeth cruise ship) and views from the Bridge for your refreshing:

Sydney Fish Market (February 2016)

Ever since seeing the picture of fresh sashimi salmon from Sydney Fish Market in a travel magazine, I had been enthused.

Yes, I had my opportunity there lately to select a sizeable slab of salmon which was sliced on the spot and enjoyed with a concoction of soya sauce and wasabi. It was clearly the best sashimi salmon that I had ever had.

Other popular seafood fare are notably: rock oysters (served on a platter with a sliced of lemon and gotta get your own Tabasco sauce -- borrow or buy, but please don't steal!), lobsters, prawns, crabs and sushi. For items which have not been pre-cooked, you could take your pick of the sea harvest and have them cooked wok-styled. The prices are per kg, but you could, of course, buy in smaller portions.

Here are some pictures for your refreshing:

For Your Inspiration (FYI)

The following quote from Dr Wayne Dyer is for your reflection and refreshing:-

"Take the last five minutes of your day and put your attention on everything that you would like to attract into your life:

'I am well. I am healed. I am in perfect health. I am abundant. I am happy.'

Say those things to yourself. Then you'll marinate for eight hours and you'll awaken and you'll begin to attract the things that are in your subconscious mind."

For a definitive guide on How To Use The Law Of Attraction, you may wish to delve into the following post at WikiHow http://www.wikihow.com/Use-the-Law-of-Attraction

According to Dr Robert Holden, "You'll discover that everything you want can be yours when you align how you feel about yourself with what you hope to attract in your life."

Here's a parting reality-check from Dr Dyer: "Simply put, you believe that things or people make you unhappy, but this is not accurate. You make yourself unhappy."

And, you know what .. FYI, U Rock! Feel Good and Rock On!!

Kinetic Rain by ART+COM

You may soak in Kinetic Rain at Changi International Airport Terminal 1, Singapore, and not get wet.

Truth be told, this art installation by ART+COM "weighs 24 tonnes in total, and consists of 1,216 motors, each animating a single copper-coated droplet, spread in two fields. The custom software enables precise and synchronised movement across the whole space, respecting the maximum acceleration and speed limitations of the hardware."

How To Find Yourself?

How do we find ourselves? One possible answer came literally on a T-shirt that I came across recently one morning and it made my day. I thought of asking the gentleman who was wearing it to let me take a pix, but stopped short of it out of a sense of decorum (you know, in case he minds).

So, I turned to the internet and found that it is actually an illustrious quote which originated from a renowned Greek philosopher, Socrates. Enjoy and feed on this:

What this means is that we have to make our own decisions rather than let others such as family members, friends, relatives, peers or advertisers, decide for us. After all, we are the ones who have to live with the ramifications of our choices.

However, there is a time to consult or seek the help of others who are wiser and/or more in the know of the situation we are facing so that we can make a wise and prudent decision. Also, it helps to stay within the boundaries of what is legal and morally upright.

We don't have to be acceptable to others, if we can handle this. Seek out a decision that we are happy with and pleasing unto God our Creator rather than retreat to please other people per se and all the time at that.

A word of caution:
"If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive." -- Audre Lorde

Further, as gleaned from the following quote by Sir George Bernard Shaw, why not create the person you wanna be and not just stopped at finding out what suits you now?
